Portfolio Project Overview
TISOH: The International School of Hospitality, renowned for its dedication to practical and industry-centered education, approached us with a vision for a streamlined, interactive website. They required a solution that would highlight their unique diploma and certificate programs while simplifying the process for prospective students to request information. The new site not only had to communicate TISOH’s commitment to excellence in hospitality education but also offer seamless functionality, allowing users to explore programs, read industry insights, and easily reach out to TISOH staff.
Golden Oak Web Design chose WordPress as the foundation for this project, allowing for flexibility, scalability, and ease of content management. The site was crafted using The7 Theme, chosen for its adaptability and professional aesthetic, along with Slider Revolution for engaging visuals on the homepage. WPBakery Page Builder enabled us to create dynamic, visually appealing layouts, while Contact Form 7 facilitated the interactive form functionalities. This setup allowed TISOH’s brand and mission to shine through a modern and responsive design.
To streamline the user journey, we implemented a dynamic request information form that autofills based on the visitor’s interest, offering a tailored experience for potential students exploring TISOH’s programs. This innovative solution, powered by Contact Form 7, not only improves the user experience but also supports TISOH’s enrollment process, guiding users from program exploration to information requests seamlessly. The form’s conditional logic provides flexibility, adapting to the specific needs of each visitor.
In addition to the dynamic form, Golden Oak Web Design developed a custom plugin to integrate TISOH’s form submissions with the Orbund Student Information System. Through this API integration, form data flows directly into the Orbund system, simplifying data management for TISOH’s administrative team and reducing the risk of manual entry errors. This integration enhances TISOH’s operational efficiency, allowing them to focus more on providing quality education and less on administrative tasks.
The new TISOH website now serves as a comprehensive platform that not only embodies the school’s mission and values but also leverages technology to streamline processes and enhance the user experience. With an emphasis on responsive design, dynamic content, and seamless data integration, this project reflects Golden Oak Web Design’s commitment to crafting websites that support business goals and provide meaningful user experiences.
