Project Portfolio Overview
Golden Oak Web Design had the pleasure of developing a fully functional e-commerce website for CeTerra Interior Design, a boutique shop specializing in organic contemporary home accessories and furniture. The project aimed to create a visually appealing and user-friendly online store that seamlessly integrates CeTerra’s brand identity, showcasing their unique assortment of botanicals, ceramics, and accessories. By combining a clean, responsive design with advanced functionality, we delivered a website that enhances the online shopping experience for CeTerra’s customers while meeting their operational needs.
To achieve this, we utilized the robust WordPress platform and The7 Theme, customizing it to reflect CeTerra’s organic and contemporary aesthetic. The website’s responsive design ensures that customers can explore and purchase products effortlessly across all devices, from desktops to smartphones. A key feature is the homepage slider, built with Slider Revolution, which dynamically highlights featured products and seasonal promotions, immediately engaging visitors with the shop’s unique offerings.
A crucial aspect of the project was integrating WooCommerce to provide CeTerra with a flexible and easy-to-manage online store. WooCommerce powers the product listings, checkout process, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for both customers and administrators. The website also includes a blog where CeTerra shares design tips, product features, and updates, creating an additional touchpoint for customer engagement.
One of the key challenges addressed during the project was the client’s need for efficient shipping solutions. Golden Oak Web Design integrated the WooCommerce ShipStation plugin to synchronize their online orders with ShipStation, allowing for streamlined fulfillment and order management. Additionally, we incorporated the WooCommerce UPS Shipping Method plugin, enabling the site to display real-time UPS shipping rates at checkout, providing accurate shipping costs and options for customers.
This project successfully blended design and functionality, creating an online presence that is both aesthetically aligned with CeTerra’s brand and operationally efficient. The combination of responsive design, e-commerce functionality, and shipping integrations ensures that CeTerra Interior Design can continue to grow its customer base while offering a superior online shopping experience.
