Website: The Oriental Rug Store Address: www.theorientalrugstore.com Services Provided: The client was selling imported oriental rugs and needed a shopping cart for inventory and orders. We consulted with the customer and decided upon the software package CubeCart. A base template was purchased and modified to fit the client's design needs, including adding a flash slideshow. Custom PHP programming was performed to hard code necessary features into the shopping cart. A MySQL database was used to store the product data. CubeCart was chosen because the client could create and modify individual pages from within the administrative console. Website: SAS Fabrics Superstore Address: www.sasfabricssuperstore.com Services Provided: The client owns a fabric store and wanted a website to showcase some of her products and provide a google map so people could find her location. We met with the client, went over design details, and then created a custom XHTML template from the ground up. Graphic design work and picture editing was necessary to complete the project. Website: Linda Rose, Realtor Address: n/a Services Provided: After meeting with the client and going over the layout of the website, we created an HTML template. The client had requested updated MLS listings on her site so we connected the client's website to the MLS through IDX. The site was divided by planned communities and each section had a PHP form that a customer could fill out to get more information. The client wanted to be able to update news on the fly so we created a google blogger template and integrated it into the website. We created a template and then modified the Quick Shopping Cart to look similar. We then added the pictures of the products and linked them to their appropriate pages in the shopping cart. Website: AJ Lewis Poetry Address: www.ajlewispoetry.com Services Provided: This site was developed to promote the client's poetry and books. The poems were added through google blogger and then published to the website, and a reader was able to comment on any poem. To make the website appear dynamic, we had random poems show on the sidebar as read through the RSS feed file via an XML parser. The client was selling books, so we linked up each item to lulu.com to complete the transaction. A small flash slideshow and two flash audio players were put on the gallery page. Website: Support American Pride Address: www.supportamericanpride.com Services Provided: Support American Pride sold personal certificates to express the pride for the USA. We divided the site up by front end and shopping cart, and created templates for both. ZenCart was used as the shopping cart and inventory system. In order for a customer to purchase a certificate, we added an additional box for a name to be entered before checkout. This name would then appear on the certificate.
